Brian's mom, Lois, has come to visit us this weekend. It was a spur of the moment decision for her to come up. She and her friend Dave came to spend the weekend making memories of freezing to death in our bizarre, freakishly-cold-weather-for-October, sitting outside watching three separate football games that her grandsons were playing. When she arrived she said:
"I am either a seriously devoted football fan, a seriously devoted grandma, or seriously stupid."
We vote the first two....well, maybe a little bit of the last one too ;)
We are all so grateful she came to see us. It has been so fun and relaxing. Most of the time we see each other it is for big family events or for holidays. What a treat to have her here for no particular reason other than spending time together!
