Oh my! What an amazing sight to behold this young man outside doing what he LOVES!!
Many of you heard about or read about the accident that Andrew was in and the terrifying ordeal throughout his hospital stay as there were so many unknowns and some grim prognoses. He is home now. With an indominable spirit alive and well! These are words from his sweet and tender mom, Kathy.
This kid is amazing and has never questioned once "why me" but has used this time to thank everyone who has helped him, took the time to ask them how they were, and showed us once again things we knew we had instilled in him from a early age.
We have started physical therapy on his right leg and side but the real work will be later down the line after the healing on the left leg is done and we can start working on finding the perfect team to work on hooking his left foot up again. Please pray specifically for that because for us its not a IF can do it its a WHEN we can do it. He's a fighter and we're seeing his spirit in it everyday. Adjusting to life with a wheelchair and a walker for a kid so physically fit and athletic is probably one of the hardest things for him but again no complaints by him,he just knows this is his new wheels for awhile. God will see him thru I just know it.
Thanks again for all who have prayed for him,me and Andy feel as if we have won the lottery in that his life was spared and we have more time as a family. God has big plans for him and for this I am certain.
Beautiful Blessings INDEED!! From our family to the Lowe family, "We love you and our prayers will continue. We are going to have to bring that reunion to you!!"

A blessing indeed!
FABULOUS!!!!
That's so great! I am always amazed at how blessed people feel when they go through something tramatic like this. It is a complete proof of Heavenly Father's love for us! Our trials really are a blessing.
Yeah!! I LOVE to see him with a smile on his face... God is SO good. And no doubt, He does have BIG plans for Andrew :)

Oh, this just warms my heart... I have been hoping that he is doing well... what a darling boy!
Thanks Anna and everyone else who has prayed for our son. he still has a long road of recovery ahead of him and many more surgueries but were optimistic he will make the best of each and everyday of it. Please continue to remember him in your prayers. its hard for a 16 year old to be house bound so were trying to think of ways to keep him busy. Any ideas?
Kathy
